Corrections Policy

Report a factual, editorial or accessibility issue and learn how the Life in the UK Test Editorial Team handles corrections.

Report a problem

Email contact@lifeintheuktest.online with the page address, question ID if visible, a concise description and a reliable supporting source. Do not include passport details, immigration status, test references or other sensitive personal information.

Useful reports include:

  • a factual error or ambiguous answer;
  • an official procedure that has changed;
  • a broken source or internal link;
  • inaccessible keyboard, focus or screen-reader behaviour;
  • language that is unclear or misleading;
  • a possible copyright or originality concern.

Review process

The editorial team checks the cited source, examines the affected content and classifies the issue. A question can be removed from production by changing its review status before a correction is finalised.

Material factual corrections update the content version or review date and are recorded in the project history. Minor punctuation or presentation changes may not receive a public notice.

What we cannot change

We cannot alter an official booking, result, test-centre decision or government policy. Those matters belong to the authorised service named on GOV.UK.

Response expectations

This is an editorial contact route, not an emergency or immigration advice service. Reports are prioritised by potential harm: current-process errors and ambiguous scored questions receive the highest priority.
